I make no secret of enjoying the Darren Aronofsky film The Fountain, and am often teased over how much I enjoy it, but for as much as I love the movie itself, the soundtrack is above and beyond amazing.

It really is stunning, and such a pleasure to listen to.

Well, after discovering that the band Mogwai were at least, in some way, partially responsible for the soundtrack, I figured I'd check them out, too.

And, well, I'm really impressed and enjoy them. I don't know why, but Mogwai is just straight kickass.

I know, they aren't Tool, or Katy Perry, but hey - not everything can be, right?!

Anyway. Mogwai: gud.
